Planning a stay at Beach Villas at Ko Olina.

A good vacation plan starts with the everyday details: where everyone will sleep, how long you can stay, and what you want your mornings and evenings to look like.

Your place to pause between island days: the villa’s private ocean-view lanai.

Aloha Nui is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa at Beach Villas at Ko Olina in Kapolei, Oʻahu. With two king bedrooms, two twin sleeper chairs, a designer kitchen, and an ocean-view lanai, it offers room for up to six guests. Here is how to decide whether it fits your group and prepare a useful inquiry.

01 / THE RIGHT FIT

Start with the sleeping arrangements.

Guest capacity tells you how many people a property can accommodate. The sleeping layout helps you decide whether everyone will be comfortable.

Aloha Nui’s king bedrooms sit on opposite sides of the villa. That arrangement may appeal to two couples traveling together or a family that wants separate bedrooms rather than one shared sleeping space. Two twin sleeper chairs provide additional sleeping options within the six-guest maximum.

Before choosing a two-bedroom Ko Olina villa rental, agree on who will use each bed. If your group includes guests using the sleeper chairs, ask the owner about their location and setup. Looking closely at the villa photos can also help everyone picture the arrangement before you move ahead.

02 / TIME TO SETTLE IN

Choose dates around a six-night minimum.

Aloha Nui has a six-night minimum stay. Count the nights between your intended arrival and departure dates rather than the number of calendar days touched by the trip.

If your schedule is flexible, prepare a preferred date range and one alternative. Include your total guest count in the inquiry so the owner can review the stay you actually need.

Think about how much of the trip you want to leave unscheduled. A kitchen breakfast, a slow morning, or time on the ocean-view lanai may be part of the reason you are choosing a villa. Leave room for those moments instead of filling every day before you arrive.

Plan around arrival and departure.

Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. and check-out is by 11:00 a.m., Hawaiʻi time. Early check-in and late check-out require host approval. The primary renter must be at least 21.

03 / THE COMPLETE PICTURE

Build a budget from the full quote.

When comparing places to stay, use the total for your exact dates and group rather than a headline nightly figure.

Aloha Nui’s inquiry process includes owner review followed by an itemized quote. Read the line items together, and ask about anything you do not recognize. Confirm which taxes and fees are included and whether any optional services would cost extra before deciding.

For the wider trip, keep a separate list for flights, transportation, groceries, dining, and activities. Free parking is included at Aloha Nui, which is useful to know if you are considering a rental car. Ask the host for arrival and vehicle-specific instructions.

The designer kitchen also gives you a choice about meals. You might plan simple breakfasts and a few meals in without turning vacation into a week of cooking. A short grocery list based on that plan is more useful than stocking up without knowing what you will use.

04 / EVERYDAY COMFORTS

Pack for the stay you actually want.

Start with your plans rather than a long, generic packing list. Choose clothing for the outings you expect to take, plus the things you will want for relaxed time at the villa.

Before packing bulky items or buying supplies, ask what is provided. Useful details to confirm include beach equipment, kitchen essentials, and any items your group needs for children. Do not assume that something shown in a general resort photo is included with this particular villa.

If cooking matters to your group, ask about specific equipment rather than whether the kitchen is “fully equipped.” A coffee setup, a particular pan, or a food-storage container may matter more to your routine than a broad description.

Laundry facilities and Wi-Fi are available. Ask which laundry supplies are provided, and check with the host about specific connectivity requirements if you plan to work during your stay.

05 / ASK WHAT MATTERS

Ask the owner the questions that affect your plans.

A focused inquiry makes it easier to get useful answers. Along with your dates and guest count, include the few details that could change your decision.

  • How are the sleeper chairs arranged and prepared?
  • What arrival and departure instructions should we plan around?
  • Which property facilities are available to guests, and are any restrictions relevant to our dates?
  • What equipment or supplies should we bring ourselves?
  • What payment and cancellation terms would apply to the proposed stay?
Nearby does not mean included.

If an amenity at a nearby property matters to your trip, verify access with that property directly. A villa stay does not include access to other resorts’ pools or guest-only facilities. See our Around Ko Olina section for links to independently operated experiences.

06 / YOUR NEXT STEP

Understand what happens after an inquiry.

The next step is to send your requested dates for owner review. The owner can then respond with an itemized quote and address questions about your proposed stay.

An inquiry does not place a hold on the villa, take payment, or create a confirmed booking. Review the response and applicable terms, then follow the owner’s instructions for any subsequent booking steps.
